For over 145 years, CPH has produced doctrinally sound materials for churches and individuals on behalf of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod.Â
All books that CGO sends around the world are published by CPH. Because every book passes through a review process to be examined for biblical accuracy, each book CGO sends is trusted to be biblically based and doctrinally sound.Â
There are children in our country and all over the world who do not know about Jesus or God’s plan for us.
With our help we can send Christian books and other materials to those who need to hear about Jesus in communities just like ours—at home and abroad!
It is estimated that 1 in 10 children in the United States is living in a food-insecure household. That means 17 million children are struggling with
hunger.Â
When children are regularly going without food the consequences can be dire. Without proper nutrition students start to display signs of adverse physical health, poor emotional well-being, and academic setbacks.Â
So, Hope Packs was developed. By sending children home with enough food to get through the weekend we can help them thrive. Each Hope Pack contains five core items: an individual warm meal (mac and cheese, ravioli), a breakfast meal, fruit, a granola bar, and a snack.Â
By bundling donated, child-friendly, shelf-stable foods and supplementing with purchased food, Midwest Food Bank provides a consistent Hope Pack for children in need.Â
Hope Packs are sent home with at-risk children every Friday during the school year. To support one child during the school year costs $68.
