The Sunday School Staff will be installed at the end of the Divine Service.
Three-year-old's, First graders, Third graders and Fifth graders will receive their My First Catechism books and Bibles at the end of the Divine Service.
We will have a lunch at 11:30 am for the confirmation students, their families, and mentors.

What is Big Give?
An opportunity to help provide your neighbors in need with Thanksgiving meals.
Home Sweet Home Mission, Thrivent and Midwest Food Bank teamed up again and are asking community members to help them collect items for meal boxes that they distribute during Thanksgiving. Last year’s efforts helped feed over 1,800 families.
This class will take place on Thursday, September 3rd from 6:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at the Activity Building (across from Christ Lutheran Church).
You’ll receive an 11" peat pot, 5 plants, a pumpkin or scarecrow, soil, plus personalized step-by-step instruction to craft your own beautiful fall porch pot. Enjoy fellowship, meet new friends, and celebrate the beauty of God’s creation by creating a porch pot arrangement — perfect for
yourself or as a thoughtful gift. All ages are welcome. Children ages 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Once the class is over, stay for fellowship around the fire pit with s'mores and cider. Adults may bring adult beverages or additional snacks, as desired.

The guest organist will be Joel Freiberg. He holds a B.A. in Music (‘24) and M.A. in Church Music (‘26) from Concordia University Chicago.
Joel will begin PhD work this fall at Baylor University studying church music.
He serves as the Kantor at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Waco, TX.
The hymn festival will include the playing and singing of seven Lutheran hymns along with commentaries and readings.
