Christ Lutheran Church will be hosting a seminar called :

Responding To Critical Race Theory and The Social Justice Movement: A Lutheran Perspective

Our American culture is full of racial division, tension, and upheaval. Riots and demands for justice abound. How do we as Christians love our neighbor, speak well of our neighbor, and defend our neighbor, while also guarding against the dangerous ideology of Critical Race Theory fueling segments of the social justice movement? How can we best acknowledge the sins of racism and discrimination, while also seeking biblical justice and proclaiming the hope and reconciliation that comes through Jesus Christ? This seminar digs into Critical Race Theory and the dangerous tenets it upholds, while offering a distinctly Lutheran alternative based upon our Two Kingdoms doctrine, which calls for justice and defense of our neighbor based upon baptismal identity in Christ.

This seminar will be led by Rev. Dr. Lucas Woodford and will be on Saturday, October 15th, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., in the Parish Hall
