The 3-year old's through 6th graders will present “From Heaven Above to Earth I Come”, on Sunday, December 14th at 
6:00 pm in the Sanctuary.

This year’s program was originally written by Martin Luther to share with his family. 

Following the program, the Board of Children and Youth welcome you to the Parish Hall for cookies and lemonade.

The confirmation classes, their mentors, the youth choir, High School Youth, and all members of the church are invited to go Christmas Caroling on Saturday, Dec. 13th, from 1:00-3:30 pm. 

We will meet at church at 1:00 pm and carpool to our homebound and nursing home individuals from our church. 

Afterwards, we will return to church for a pizza party.

Please mark your calendar and help share the Good News of Jesus’ birth.

Miriam Circle will meet on Thursday, December 11th, @ 11:00 am for a holiday potluck. 

The meat dish will be provided and members are asked to bring a dish of their choice to share.

The Set-Up for Journey To The Manger will be from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm on December 6th.

We will start with loading the sets and props for Journey To The Manger onto the trailer/float (when it gets back from the Christmas Parade).

We will then set up the scenes for Journey To The Manger with the sets and props from the trailer.

Lunch will be served, so you can come to church after the parade.

Christ Lutheran will be in the annual Bloomington/Normal Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 6th.

Our float will be promoting Journey To The Manger (JTTM).

Both youth and adults are encouraged to volunteer to help out with our JTTM float during the Christmas Parade.

Youth will be riding on the float, while the adults will be walking alongside the float, handing out flyers and candy canes to the people watching the parade.

If interested, please meet on the street in front Kingsley Junior High School (303 Kingsley St, Normal), at 9:00 am.

We will be providing JTTM costumes for both youth and adults (everyone is encouraged to wear a costume).

After the parade, pick up will be at the parking lot on the corner of Jefferson St and Gridley St in Bloomington.

If you would just like to watch the parade, the parade starts at 10:00 am. The parade route starts at Kingsley Junior High in Normal and ends at the McLean County Museum of History in Bloomington.

Attention all youth and adults of Christ Lutheran: 

Come and join us to help decorate the church for the Advent and Christmas on Sunday, November 30th, starting at 2:00 pm.

The next Women's Night Out will be the Women’s Christmas Social Night on Thursday, December 11th at 6:30 pm.

This event will be held at Karen Duran's house at Karen Duran’s house. 

Bring an appetizer or dessert to share and a beverage if you wish.

There will be an opportunity to bring a donation for the Baby Fold. 

We will also have a gift exchange if you wish to participate.
