Announcements for events for the Youth of Christ Lutheran Church, specifically for 5th and 6th graders, 7th and 8th graders, and youth in High School (YAIC).

This includes service opportunities for youth going through Confirmation, the Higher Things Conference, and other events specifically for the Youth at Christ Lutheran Church.

"Rooted In Christ" - CID Junior High Youth Event

Saturday, November 7th

At Camp CILCA in Cantrall, IL; 8:30 am - 4:00 pm

Youth from across CID are invited to gather on Saturday, November 7, for a full day of worship, fellowship, and spiritual growth at Camp CILCA. This year's event carries the theme “Rooted in Christ,” drawn from Colossians 2:6–7, which calls believers to walk in Christ, “rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith.”

Registration will open at 8:30 a.m., with programming running until 4:00 p.m. Organizers are planning a day filled with worship, small-group discussion, and recreation, all centered on what it means for young people to grow deep in their faith and stand firm together as a community. The cost to attend is $40 per youth, which covers the full day of activities. Adult volunteers attend free of charge, and organizers are encouraging churches to bring chaperones to support their youth groups throughout the day. Camp CILCA, a longtime retreat and camp facility, offers a peaceful, natural setting well-suited for a day of reflection and connection.
