Life Light. Two very ordinary words used to describe an extraordinary Savior. LifeLight is a small group Bible study that will take you on a spiritual journey that will change your life for ever... Watch for more information coming this summer. Reserve Thursday evenings from 6:30 - 8:30 beginning September 22nd to begin your journey to "Step into the Light." Child Care provided.

Each study in this popular series is written by a Bible scholar/pastor with "real world" congregational experience encouraging participants to dig into God's Word and apply Bible truths to their lives. If you are serious about growing in faith and the knowledge of God's Word, don't miss this opportunity. "Seek the LORD while he may be found; call on him while he is near." Isaiah 55:6

Inquirers - New Members

 Classroom 7:00 PM
This class for adults and older youth, studies the basic doctrine of Christian faith. After completing this class, nonmember may become members. This class is informal, with no pressure to join the church. This is also a great review class for members. This class lasts about 10-12 weeks. Please call the church office (452-5609).

Shining Lights Preschool        
  Shining Lights Preschool is a nonprofit Christian preschool that is a ministry outreach of Christ Lutheran Church.

  Shining Lights Preschool is committed to the development and growth of every child in the following areas:
  Emotional
  • Students will be given the opportunity to grow emotionally through song, dance and prayer.
  Creative
  • Students will be given the opportunity to explore their imagination through dramatic play.
  • Students will be given the opportunity to express themselves through various are activities.
  Spiritual
  • Shining lights Preschool is a Ministry Outreach of Christ Lutheran Church.
  • Prayer will be said/sung before snack time.
  • Bible stories and their applications will be presented daily.
  • The 4 year class will have a weekly Chapel time in the church with the pastor.
  • Bible verses will be introduced weekly.
    Christmas and Easter will be presented with a religious emphasis.
  Intellectual
  • Curriculum themes will include lessons involving reading readiness, math readiness, and basic science principals.
  Social
  • Students will be encouraged to use good manners, share, and be responsible for toys and supplies throughout the curriculum.
  Physical
  • Students will have the opportunity to use gross motor skills in activities such as climbing, building with blocks, and recess.
  • Students will have the opportunity to use fine motor skills in activities such as writing, stringing beads, and playing with clay.
         
 

Additional Information

  • Shining Lights Preschool is licensed by the state.
  • Teachers are state certified.
  • The preschool is governed by a board of concerned and involved individuals.
  • Classes will follow the schedule of the Unit 5 schools for holidays, breaks, and emergency days.
  • The four year class is offered three consecutive days to enhance learning continuity.
